This notice explains how MSU Trade collects and uses your personal data. The data controller is Mohammed Saber Uddin, trading as MSU Trade, of 185 Plashet Road, London, E13 0QZ.
What we collect
- Your name, email address, telephone number and delivery and billing addresses.
- Details of the products and services you order, and any messages you send us, including about service contracts or installation bookings.
- Technical data such as your IP address and browser type, collected through our online shop.
Payments are processed through Shopify's checkout. We do not store your full card details ourselves.
How we use it
- To process and deliver your order, and to arrange any service, installation or contract you have chosen. This is necessary to perform our contract with you.
- To handle returns, queries and service bookings. This is necessary to perform our contract with you.
- To keep accounting records, which we retain for six years. This is a legal obligation.
- To reply to enquiries you send us and, where you agree, to send you information about our products.
Who we share it with
We share your data only with the businesses that help us operate, such as Shopify for hosting our shop and processing payments, and couriers who deliver your order. We do not sell your data.
How long we keep it
We keep order and accounting records for six years to meet our legal obligations. Other personal data is kept only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email info@msu-trade.com and we will reply within one month. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
